Strawberry Lemonade Chocolate Cups Recipe

These chocolate treats are as refreshing and delicious as a glass of strawberry lemonade with the creamy sweetness of white chocolate. They are perfect for any summer or tropical themed party!

Ingredients:

You'll also want:

Prepare the Ganache:

1.

Put 1 lb. of Candy & Molding Formula WHITE in a large mixing bowl. Do not melt the chocolate. Just put the discs in.

2.

Bring cream slowly to a light boil in a heavy saucepan.

3.

Zest whole lemon and add zest to the cream. Cut the lemon and squeeze lemon juice into cream (be careful not to get any seeds in there!).

4.

Pour boiling cream over chocolate and keep stirring until all the chocolate has melted.

5.

Add a few drops of Yellow Coloring Oil to the ganache to make it a light yellow color.

6.

When the ganache is warm it's creamy. You can thicken it by whisking it. Place in the refrigerator to cool.

Prepare the Shells

7.

Melt the remaining 1 lb of Bada Bing Bada Boom Candy & Molding Formula according to the instructions.

Instructions for melting Bada Bing Bada Boom Candy & Molding Formula.

8.

Add the Strawberry Flavoring Oil to taste and a few drops of the Pink Coloring Oil and stir with a rubber spatula until uniform. Follow the instructions that came with your coloring and flavoring oils.

9.

Pour the melted chocolate into the mold until it reaches the top. Then tap the mold a few times on the counter to get the air bubbles out.

10.

Turn the mold upside-down over a bowl to let most of the chocolate drain out, leaving a thin coating of chocolate over all sides of the mold cavity. Scrape the top using an offset spatula

11.

Refrigerate until set.

Assemble the Chocolate Cups

12.

Once the strawberry chocolate cups have completely set, remove them from the mold.

13.

Spoon the lemon cream into the cups and enjoy!

Seal in an airtight container until ready to serve.
