Red Hot Chocolate Hearts
Whether you are giving them as a Valentine's Day gift or just as a friendly reminder of your love, these chocolate hearts will win the heart of the one you admire!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Dark Chocolate, Choose Between:
- Bada Bing Bada Boom Candy & Molding Formula (no tempering required)
- V125 Indulgence Couverture Chocolate (tempering required)
- 1 cup cinnamon candy (like Red Hots or Hot Tamales)
- Heart-shaped cookie cutter
You Will Also Need:
Method:
| 1. | Melt or temper the chocolate using instructions
that came with your chocolate. Ideally, use a double boiler
(or a double boiler
insert). Do not let the water touch the bottom
of the double boiler. Only let the water simmer. Do not allow

| 2. | Pour chocolate onto a waxed paper coated baking sheet. |
| 3. | Evenly arrange the red cinnamon candies over the chocolate. |
| 4. | Place in the refrigerator until set, about 15 minutes. |
| 5. | Once the Chocolate has set, remove from the refrigerator. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out pieces. |
Seal in an airtight container until ready to serve. |
